Abbaba Shallow Bowl

A low, hand-turned bowl in abbaba, an African wood with a bold character. What stands out most are the irregular dark stripes running across the warm, golden-brown wood. They give the bowl a lively, almost graphic figure, both inside and along the rim.

The shape is clean and simple: a flat base with a straight, rounded rim. Finished with natural oils, beeswax and carnauba wax, which give the wood a soft, warm sheen. Lovely as a serving dish for nuts, olives or dry snacks, as a catch-all for keys and jewellery, or simply as an eye-catcher on the table or shelf.

Wood: abbaba Finish: natural oils, beeswax and carnauba wax

Care: clean by hand with a damp cloth or a little lukewarm water. Do not put it in the dishwasher and do not let it soak. Rub it in with a little food-safe oil from time to time to keep its warm sheen.
