Padouk Shallow Bowl

A low, hand-turned bowl in padouk, an African hardwood known for its warm, deep red colour. Fine, flowing grain lines run across the wood, giving every bowl its own lively figure.

The shape is clean and compact: a flat base with straight, gently rounded sides. The bowl is finished with natural oils, beeswax and carnauba wax, which give the wood a soft, warm sheen. Ideal for nuts, olives or dry snacks, as a catch-all for keys and jewellery, or simply as an eye-catcher on the table or shelf.

Good to know: padouk ages beautifully. Its red tone gradually deepens to a warm, dark reddish brown.

Care: clean by hand with a damp cloth or a little lukewarm water. Do not put it in the dishwasher and do not let it soak. Rub it in with a little food-safe oil from time to time to keep its warm sheen.
