Sweetgum Plates (Set of 2)

A set of two hand-turned plates in sweetgum, also known as satin walnut. The wood has a warm, soft caramel tone with a subtle, flowing grain and gentle shifts in colour, so each plate has its own natural character while the two still make a lovely pair.

The plates are wide and shallow with a softly raised rim. They are finished with natural oils, beeswax and carnauba wax, which give the wood a soft, satin sheen. Perfect for serving bread, cheese, charcuterie or snacks, or as a warm natural accent on a beautifully set table.

Care: clean by hand with a damp cloth or a little lukewarm water. Do not put them in the dishwasher and do not let them soak. Rub them in with a little food-safe oil from time to time to keep their warm sheen.
